Through a special partnership between the Campus Area Transportation Management Association (CATMA) and CarShare Vermont, full-time students, faculty, and staff at UVM and Champlain College can take advantage of a great deal! Your campus is covering the full cost of our Share-a-Lot annual membership fee – this is a $150 annual discount! Champlain College and UVM applicants are responsible for:
CarShare Vermont is a nonprofit organization that recognizes car-sharing as a practical, easy, and fun way to reduce car dependence, increase mobility, and improve the health of our community and environment. CarShare Vermont gives you affordable and easy access to a network of vehicles parked around town that you can use whenever you want for as long as you like. CATMA, on behalf of its member institutions, has partnered with CarShare Vermont to provide car pod locations on the campuses of Champlain College and the University of Vermont! There are two pod locations on the Champlain campus and two on UVM. There are six additional pod locations throughout the Ciity of Burlington, giving members a total of ten cars to choose from. It's easy to become a member, just click this link to register. Once your application is approved AND you attend a membership class, you can reserve a car 24/7 for as little as 15 minutes or as long as you like using the easy web or phone reservation systems.
